Founder & CEO Coaching

A thriving business doesn't start with strategy. It starts with WHO you are being as you lead it.

You might know this feeling

From the outside, it looks like you've made it. The business is real. The numbers are respectable. The people around you assume you've got it figured out, and most days, you can play that part pretty well.

But that’s not how it is on the inside.

That nagging feeling of unease. A sense you've outgrown the version of yourself that built your business, but t sure how to progress so you double down on what’s worked before. Do you have moments when you ask yourself “is this is really it?” or “how do I achieve more without burning out?”. Maybe you’ve thought, “If you could just get everything where it needs to be, then I’ll feel OK”.

You're not broken. And there’s nothing ‘wrong’ with you. But you are at an edge. And that edge is a threshold where the old way of thinking, leading and operating no longer work.

Thankfully, there’s a way to transcend all of this.

It starts with WHO

A philosophy and framework for founders, CEOs, and business owners ready to lead from a deeper place.

I've spent the last decade working with founders and leaders as they transcend old beliefs, limited thinking and leadership models which no longer serve them. The work we do means they go on to lead in which is aligned with their vision and values, harnesses their finest skills and creates a deep sense of fulfilment.

In my own journey, I’ve had to navigate change at multiple levels: existential crisis, auto immune health challenges, professional identity reinvention, and crafting a mind centred in calm. Out of all of that, I've arrived at one conviction that sits beneath everything else:

Are you trying to grow the business, develop the next stage?

What can seem like a strategy problem is often a symptom of a leadership approach no longer fit for the environment you’re in. AI, geopolitical events and a world which is VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous), demands a new way.

Underneath nearly every stuck founder, every plateaued CEO, every leader I’ve worked with, they’ve hit a ceiling but can't quite name it. There's a question they've never been properly asked:

Who are you being right now?

That question is the centre of everything I do. And it's why my framework doesn't start with what or how. It starts with WHO.

Inner Compass

I think of this framework as a compass. It creates orientation from the inside out. It guides you, and keeps you aligned.

At the centre is BEING. And around it, four cardinal points: WHERE, WHY, WITH, WHAT.

BEING

Everything you do flows from who you are being in the moment you do it. Every decision, every conversation, every block, every breakthrough, all of it is downstream of your inner state. So before we develop a new strategy, we work on the person driving it. In my experience, it's the most powerful lever to pull.

Being has three dimensions, and we work with all of them.

BEEN. Everything that has come before and made you. Your formation, your wins, your wounds, the beliefs you inherited and the ones you forged in the fire. We don't dwell in the past, but we do honour it — because what isn't understood tends to drive from the back seat.

BEING. Who you are enacting today. Not who you say you are. Not who you'd like to be. Who you actually are when the pressure's on, when the difficult email lands, when your team looks to you for an answer you don't yet have. This is the live edge of the work.

BECOMING. The person you're growing into. The person your ambitions and dreams are asking you to become. So often, the gap between where you are and where you want to be isn't a skills gap or a strategy gap. It's an identity gap. And once you see it, you can close it deliberately.

The centre holds because the centre is you.

The Four Cardinal Points

WHERE

What is your vision? What is the future that scares you a little and makes you feel alive at the same time? In my experience, if your vision doesn't quietly terrify you, it isn't big enough yet. North is the horizon you're walking toward: clear, compelling, and worth what it'll ask of you.

WHY

What's your purpose? What brings you meaning, and what meaning does your work give to the world? Why is the gravitational pull. When the road gets hard, and at some point, it always does, it's the why that keeps you going when the where alone isn't enough.

WITH

What are you bringing with you? Defining your unique abilities. Your zone of genius: the place where you operate in flow, where you create disproportionate value with what feels like ease. We get really clear on what's actually yours to do here, so you can stop wasting energy and multiply your assets.

WHAT

What needs to happen? Now we develop the architecture of action with new a strategy and tactics. When your centre, who you;e being is at it’s finest, this works with the other three points in alignment, the what becomes far clearer and effective. Not because it's suddenly easy, but because it stops being cluttered with everything that doesn't belong on your plate.

When all five elements are working together, something shifts. You stop second-guessing every decision. You move with clarity and confidence. The business starts to feel less like a weight you're carrying and more like an honest expression of who you are.

Two Principles Which Run Through Everything

The compass gives us the map. These two principles are how we actually travel it.

1. Metacognition - thinking about your thinking

The single most powerful, trainable skill I've seen in genuinely thriving founders is the ability to step back and observe their own mind. To notice the thought before they follow it. It’s about catching the pattern before it runs the show. To self-correct in real time, without judgement is a leadership quality critical in an AI influenced world.

The majority of leaders are intelligent. Far fewer are genuinely metacognitive and the ones who are can navigate complexity, pressure, and uncertainty in a way which others simply can't. It's a skill, not a personality trait. Which means it can be developed.

2. Building Capacity - holding the paradox

This is the work I'm probably most known for, and it's the work that goes deepest. Capacity is the ability to hold two seemingly opposing truths at the same time, without collapsing into either one.

Spiritual growth and financial success. Uncertainty and confident action. Ambition and peace of mind. Vulnerability and authority. Fierce drive and deep rest.

Most of us are taught (usually unconsciously) that we have to choose a thinking position. Using binary thinking is severely limiting. The mature founder learns to hold both. Every paradox you can sit inside without resolving prematurely gives you another position to think and act from. And the more positions you have, the more creative, grounded, and genuinely free you become as a leader, and as a human being.

This is what I mean by depth. Not complexity for its own sake. The inner mind-state allowing you to meet whatever life and business bring you, without defaulting to fear or limitation.

What’s happening for you now?

Take a moment to reflect and ask yourself these three powerful questions:

  1. What’s your block right now?

  2. What scares you, but secretly excites you?

  3. What’s your biggest ambition if you knew you couldn’t fail?

When you answer these honestly, you’ll begin to uncover the obstacles that, once removed, could have the greatest impact on your growth and success.

How you can move forward

I know how overwhelming it can feel when you’re working so hard but feel like treading water. Often, we’re too close to our businesses to see the path forward clearly. If you’re ready to explore what’s next, I’d love to hear your story and offer you some practical guidance.

Here’s what I propose:

  • We arrange a time for a conversation.

  • I’ll listen deeply to your situation, help uncover the biggest lever you can pull ( and h to d.

  • You’ll walk away with fresh ideas and clarity to move forward

This is an opportunity for us to connect, learn, and discover if coaching could help you. I have a specific approach and criteria for who I work with, and the only way to know if it’s the right fit is to have a conversation.

My coaching style blends curiosity, creativity, and a touch of playfulness, so I feel confident you’ll find our time together valuable and inspiring!
