Founder Coaching

Founding Self.

A philosophy and framework for founders, CEOs, and business owners ready to lead from a deeper place.

I've spent the last decade helping founders and leaders move past old beliefs and habits which no longer serve them. The result: leadership aligned with their vision and values, using their finest skills, with a real sense of fulfilment.

I've navigated this kind of change myself — existential crisis, health challenges, reinventing my career, rebuilding my business, learning to think clearly under pressure. It's not comfortable. Staying stuck is worse.

Where are you now? Are you ready for the next stage?

What looks like a strategy problem is often a leadership approach that's stopped fitting the world you're in. AI, geopolitics, constant uncertainty — none of it rewards the old way of thinking.

Every stuck founder I've worked with has hit an edge they can feel but can't get through. There's a question they've never been properly asked:

Who are you being right now?

That question is the centre of what I do. My framework doesn't start with what or how. It starts with WHO.

It Starts With WHO.

I think of this framework as a foundation to develop the next stage of you from the inside. It's about what you're standing on, and what you build from there.

At the base is BEING. Rising from it, four foundations: WHERE, WHY, WITH, WHAT.

Everything you do flows from who you're being when you do it. Every decision, every conversation, every breakthrough — all of it comes from your inner state. So before we build a new strategy, we work on the person driving it. It's the most powerful lever there is.

Being has three parts. We work with all of them.

BEEN. Everything that's made you,  your wins, your wounds, the beliefs you inherited and the ones you forged yourself. Patterns which got set up early in life run your thinking without you seeing them. We reveal the nature of these and find a new way of being.

BEING. Who you actually are today. Not who you say you are. Not who you'd like to be. Who shows up when the pressure's on, when the hard email lands, when your team needs an answer you don't have yet.

BECOMING. The person you're consciously choosing to become. The gap between where you are and where you want to be usually isn't a skills gap. It's an identity gap. Once you see this, it will set you free.

The Four Foundations.

WHERE

What's your vision? If it doesn't scare you a little, it isn't big enough yet. This is the horizon you're building toward — clear, compelling and worth the journey for who you'll become.

WHY

What's your purpose? What does your work mean to you, and to the world? This is what holds when the road gets hard. It's the why that keeps you standing when the where alone isn't enough.

WITH

What are you bringing with you? Your zone of brilliance - where you create real value with what feels like ease. We get clear on what's actually yours to do, so you stop spending energy on what isn't.

WHAT

What needs to happen? This is courageous action, with clear strategy and tactics. When the other three are aligned, the what gets clearer and sharper. Not easier. Just no longer cluttered with things that were never yours to carry.

When all five work together, something changes. You stop second-guessing every decision and move with clarity. The business starts to feel less like a weight and more like an honest expression of who you are.

Two Cognitive Skills We Develop.

The foundation is what we build on. These two principles are how we build something new.

1. Metacognition — Thinking About Your Thinking

The most powerful skill I see in thriving founders is the ability to step back and observe their own mind — to catch a pattern before it runs the show, and self-correct without judgement. In a world shaped by AI, this is an elite skill and a leadership edge.

Most leaders are intelligent. Few are genuinely metacognitive. It's rarely taught, but it can be learned and it changes how you handle complexity, pressure, and uncertainty.

2. Building Capacity — Holding The Paradox

This is the work I'm most known for. Capacity is the ability to hold two opposing truths at once, without collapsing into either.

Spiritual growth and financial success.

Uncertainty and confident action.

Ambition and peace of mind.

Fierce drive and deep rest.

Most of us are taught, unconsciously, to pick one side. That's limiting. The mature founder learns to hold both — and every paradox you can sit inside without rushing to resolve it gives you another place to think and act from. The more you can hold, the more free you become, as a leader and as a person.

That's what depth means here. Not complexity for its own sake — the ability to meet whatever comes without defaulting to fear.
